Noteworthy: The 5-foot-8 extracurricular hitter/defensive specializer was selected MVP of the prestigious Dave Mohs Tournament aft starring the Lancers (13-3) to the tourney title. The Lancers are ranked 4th this week successful CIF-SS Division 1/2. Martinez, a Lancers captain, had 37 kills and 21 digs successful the tourney aft registering 14 kills, 8 digs and 4 aces successful a 3-2 nonaccomplishment to No. 1 Mater Dei earlier successful the week.
