Artists, founders and metropolis officials gathered Wednesday morning, Sept. 29, to footwear disconnected the sixth variation of “POW! WOW! Long Beach,” a week of art-making focused connected murals astir the city.

Julia Huang, president and CEO of Intertrend Communications and creator of the planetary POW! WOW!, was connected manus to denote the summation of sculpture nationalist art, Art Renzei, to the festival.

A caller mural by Brendan Monroe covered the partition astatine Seaside Way and Pine Avenue, and was utilized arsenic a backdrop for the kick-off event.
