Long Beach Boys & Girls Clubs CEO, former board president walk 1st of 2 marathons for charity

Don Rodriguez, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach, and his person Dr. Grant Uba walked from San Clemente to Crystal Cove State Park, successful Orange County, connected Friday, Oct. 15, arsenic portion of a fundraising effort called “2 Friends, 2 Marathons, 2 Days.”

The fundraiser is for the Long Beach clubs’ wellness and wellness programs. Rodriguez and Uba, a erstwhile committee president for the clubs, walked the archetypal 26.2 miles connected Friday — and are acceptable to tackle the 2nd marathon connected Saturday.
