ALHAMBRA — A misdemeanor lawsuit against a South Pasadena pub owner accused of violating a region pandemic lockdown bid was dismissed Wednesday pursuing his completion of 80 hours of assemblage work and a COVID-19 compliance information course.
Joseph Patrick Griffin, present 58, was charged successful June 2020 with 1 number of violating the Los Angeles County wellness serviceman bid by opening the pub — Griffins of Kinsale — connected St. Patrick’s Day successful March 2020.
Prosecutors alleged that the pub opened its doors, served customers and offered unrecorded amusement that time contempt the wellness order, which mandated the closure of non-essential businesses, including bars that did not service food.
Along with the assemblage service, Griffin completed a COVID-19 information compliance certificate programme for concern owners and employees that is offered by the Department of Public Health, according to Ricardo Santiago of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
